Just Wow - an awesome performance and transcription. Gods hand guided Bach when he created this monumental work and hearing it played by different instrument's is truly a joy.

In my opinion, this is the most beautiful version of pictures at an exhibition i have heard. As far as promenade, baba yaga, and great gate of kiev are concerned, it is almost as powerful as the animusic version, cathedral pictures. I will have to give my favorite arrangment/performance of great gate of kiev to Joshua Heaney though. While all are excellent ensembles, ESP has my vote over Euregio sax. orchestra, and Mi Bemol. Love it.

Great arrangement, great interpretation and some fine playing. UA-cam dumped the original cembalo work in my feed last week - first time I’d heard it, thought it very interesting. I find this arrangement more appealing because this ensemble can provide a greater dynamic range and colour palette than the cembalo. Nice!

I was at this concert. After these guys played, campus security made everyone evacuate Kilbourn because there were reports of 4 saxophone monsters going absolute BEAST MODE on stage - thankfully no one was hurt but they weren't able to catch the 4 monsters and now everyone at Eastman is really scared
